Everlast Welder - Power TIG 200DX

by Joey Sacco on February 14, 2017
When you purchase a tool, especially a kind of expensive one, you hope that it will last for some time. Well, our experience with Everlast welders and plasma cutters, this is not the case. We wanted to give the underdog a chance, but there is a reason people rave about the blue, red, and yellow. In the middle of making the Catawba brewing legs (very important job for us), this beauty went up in flames. We also have had two of three powerplasma 50 units go up in flames. A friend bought one of their MIG welders, and it burned up right when he plugged it in! I have mentioned these unfortunate series of events on forums to protect others from this happening, and we are usually attacked with statements saying we do not know how to operate our machines, or do not blow them out. In any case, we do care for our equipment very much, I mean, they are what make our business work. We have never had an ounce of problems from our Miller, Lincoln, ESAB, or Hypertherm units. They work for us everyday without a hitch!
